It looks like an entertaining way to learn about typography, although the illustrations make it look a bit too childish to my taste. Anyway, you can <a href="http://www.hyperactivitypography.com/preview/index.html">browse the book online</a> and <a href="http://www.hyperactivitypography.com/">buy it here</a> if you like it.</p>

<p>Hoefler &amp; Frere-Jones recently published <a href="http://www.typography.com/email/2010_03/index_tw.htm">an article</a> that gives some good explanations on how to combine fonts. Their approach is very interesting to me, what I like about it is that they don&#8217;t only look at the technical specifities of the typefaces, but also look at what they express.</p>
