Splinter: a 3D typeface

A 3D typeface made from triangular pieces of cut up cardboard. The result looks very agressive, which was the goal. A good experiment, you can see all the letters here.

Curtis: the first CSS font

I knew that it was possible to do a lot with CSS, but honestly I wouldn’t have thought that one could create a font using CSS only. David Desandro did it, he explains and shares his work on this page.

Tie-pography

Two things can be said for sure about Ed Nacional:

He own a lot of ties
He is really talented

Hi tie-pography project does at least suggest these two things. The font even looks quite good and has uppercase and lowercase letters, which was a lot of work for sure.

29letters is the wonderful typography and graphic design company of Pascal Zoghbi, an excellent designer from Lebanon. He recently shared some of the studio’s recent work on his personal blog, you can see a few here, but there is more on his blog.
