The Lost Type Co-Op is a Pay-What-You-Want Type foundry, the first of its kind. That means that you can get the fonts for free (if you don’t respect the designers’ work). In this post I picked a few of their fonts that I found worth noting. The average quality of fonts is very high on their site, so make sure to browse the other fonts too.

Abraham Lincoln

A great font inspired by the proportions of the 16th president of the USA. Designed by Frances McLeod.

A fatty font defined by its rounded corners, wide strokes, and semi-condensed letterforms. Designed by C. Vand de Water.

Klinik Slab

A contemporary, versatile Slab Serif, Klinic is a workhorse that marries personality and functionality. Designed by Joe Prince.

Geared is an industrial inspired Condensed Slab Serif in 4 weights (Thin, Regular, Bold, Extrabold). Designed by Ben Dalrymple.

Fairview is a condensed sans serif, with small cap alternates, inspired by the industrial lettering of the 20th century. Designed by Riley Cran.
