Ciao is a conceptual typeface that adds a visual system of information to the Latin alphabet in order to make the sound information available to the reader, so he or she knows where to put the intonations.

This font was designed by Massimiliano Audretsch, an Italien graphic designer. The typographer put massive work into creating 27 different kinds of intonation for each letter of the alphabet. The whole project is presented in a 150 pages document designed by Audretsch himself to display the over 1400 glyphs he created.
